Spring brings fresh momentum – to SEQUIQ as well!
With release 2026.4, you can look forward to exciting new features, most notably a new analysis function that provides even greater transparency in order scheduling.
In addition, after a new release you will now be greeted with a compact overview of the most important changes directly when starting SEQUIQ. For those who want to dive deeper, the “More info” button in this new dialog takes you directly to our release blog with all the details.
Look forward to the following highlights:
- Transparent Analysis of Planning Stages with SEQUIQ Program Analysis
- More Flexible Management of Sequencing Rules
- Grouping Orders by Month
Customers with Long Term Support (LTS) will receive the new features with the next LTS release in September 2026.
Analyze / Order Sequence
Transparent Analysis of Planning Stages with SEQUIQ Program Analysis
With the SEQUIQ Program Analysis, you always have your planning under control, whether for short-term order scheduling just a few days before the start of production or for pre-planning over weeks and months.
Already today, the Program Analysis supports, among other things:
- the quantitative analysis of orders by features or order types
- the evaluation of of target date adherence and sequence rule compliance within the current order sequence
With the current release, the program analysis is extended by an additional key perspective: the analysis of the planning stage of your orders.
Planning stages describe different types of order dates. A typical example: Target dates (e.g. defined by Sales), Plan dates (calculated dates from scheduling or pre-planning), and Actual dates (confirmed entry into production).
Two Analysis Options for Planning Stages:
- Planning stage (Single): Analyze how many orders per time unit have a date in a specific planning stage, regardless of whether orders have already reached higher planning stages
Example: Check how completely target dates are maintained, even if plan dates have already been calculated. - Planning stage (Highest): For each order, the highest reached planning stage is evaluated. You see how many orders per time unit have their highest date in which planning stage, giving you an immediate overview of the scheduling progress.
Example: See at a glance up to which point orders have Actual or Plan dates – and from when only Target dates are available.
Flexible Visualization and Aggregation
Direct Jump to Detailed Analysis
From the program analysis, you can now jump directly to a specific shift, day, or week. Example: An unusually high number of orders of a certain type is visible on a specific day in the overview. With a single click, you switch directly to the main view for that day and continue your detailed analysis.
Available for whom?
The extended program analysis is available to all users of the module Program Planning.

Further Improvements
- More flexible management of sequencing rules: You can now change the rule set assigned to a sequencing rule even after the rule has been created. This makes working with rule sets significantly more flexible and convenient.
(Document / Sequencing Rules) - Grouping orders by month: In addition to the existing aggregation levels shift, day and week, orders can now also be grouped by month. Orders within a month are grouped under a common header that can be expanded and collapsed. This improves the overview, especially for long-term planning and large order volumes. The “Month level” can be activated in the view options.
